I am now 5 months pregnant with a very actively kicking and poking baby boy. Its amazing to have another person growing inside of you. You're like, Whoa! There's a baby in there! I can feel his enormous head poking through my belly! Sometimes he'll kick and I'll pat my stomach, and then he'll kick back in response. Its like pat, kick, pat, kick, pat pat pat, KICK. Then I stop because that last kick will rock my abdomen. He's so strong!

Tv and the movies make pregnancy seem like a simple faze and then the real hard part comes when you gotta push the big guy out. Oh no...well, pregnancy is different for every woman, but my goodness! I got swollen legs and feet that I can barely fit my shoes so I wear flip flops most of the time. I have gone up 2-3 pant sizes even though I've only gained 3 pounds!!! I'm always tired, just picking up stuff from off the floor is a chore. I use to go to the gym and workout for 2 hours. Now, I can barely walk 5 blocks without feeling tired. I had no idea pregnancy was so taxing on the body. This baby loves to eat so I had to make myself eat more food. I have learned that babies do not like fast food, sorry McD's, you're cute kiddie commericals don't work with this one.

I wish I was in a better place financially to provide better for this child but I will do the best I can. My relationship with his father is kind of a touchy subject so we will leave him out of this but he is involved. All I know is that I got to get myself back on track because knowing that I'm responsible for another person takes precedence over what I want. I've been going back to church and rededicated my life to the Lord and I've been focused more on living my life in a way that is pleasing to Him. After this baby is born, no more kids until I am married!
