Gaia used to be a great place to come and randomly post stuff to get fantastic feedback, now everyone is rude and snarky including the mods which shocked me because I'd always remembered the mods being generally happy people with decent senses of humor but now they rude too.
It's really sad that you can't make a serious post about your novel's plot and change the character's names to ridiculous things so that your ideas aren't stolen without people accusing you of not taking your own work seriously. Honestly... do people really think that it's a good idea to post everything they've written on gaia so people can rip it off? Clearly I'm just trying to protect my book since it's fully written and currently gotten some attention from potential publishers.
Apparently everyone on gaia takes themselves way to seriously now. Guys just so ya know it's a online forum. Fantastic games to boot, but your general population is still teeny bopping manga freaks. Not that there's anything wrong with that I'm sure it makes you lots of money, but really... don't sweat the small stuff.
