And my interesting week continues....
Thursday was March 23rd... it was exactly one yr since my ex was killed in a car accident. very emotional day for me, especially because of the whole story behind me and him...
Me, Jamie and his sister Serena grew up 2gether and were as close as friends could get. Me and Jamie were basically soulmates. i started going out with him a few yrs ago and Serena just did a 360 on me, turning in2 an absolute b*tch.
Our parents found out and i found out that his parents, as nice as they had been 2 me all those yrs, actually hated my guts, and my parents made it no secret that they didn't approve of Jamie. They caused so much trouble that we ended up taking a break after only 2 months and about 5 months later, we decided 2 give it another try coz we loved each other so much and we secretly got engaged. Serena found out somehow and we were freaking out coz we thought she would tell some1 but for some reason she didn't. still, the 2nd time was twice as bad and at the end of 2004 we broke up again but this time came up with a plan. coz i was moving 2 Darwin 2 go 2 uni in 2005, we decided that we would put our engagment on hold, see other people for a little while and he was going 2 moving Darwin at the beginning of 2007, and we were going 2 move in 2gether and get married - we were determined not to let our parents interfere next time.
So i moved up 2 Darwin and started going 2 uni. 23rd March 2005, i was running late for a lecture. my mobile started ringing and i didn't recognise the number so i answered it. It was Serena, ringing up 2 tell me that Jamie had been killed in a car accident while overseas visiting his cuzin. i didn't end up making it 2 my lecture and that was the last day i went 2 uni.
on a less dismal note (and also coz i gotta run or i won't make the bus and i'll be late for work), one of my friends from primary school, Sophie Edington, won 3 gold medals at the Commonwealth Games this week. She won the Women's 50m backstroke, the Women's 100m backstroke and she was in the Aussie team that won the Women's 4x100m Women's Medley Relay. Yay Sophie! U go girl!
well got 2 run... i know i'm gonna miss the bus now! xp
cya next time!!
