Here come the holidays.. Bleh. Gifts to buy, family to see, weather to deal with. The weather is the biggest current issue. I woke up this morning with a foot of snow on my car. Almost didn't get out of the parking lot. A 5 minute drive to work took me nearly 20 minutes. Damn weather. Finally got my new computer built and finished. 64bit processing, ddr2 ram.. Yummy. Doom 3 is tastay, like a fine mix of cheese and bread and wine. Well, if cheese was bullets, bread was blood and wine was hellfire. Haven't had a game scare the bejeesus outta me in quite some time, Doom 3 managed to do it consistently, highly entertaining. Calling my ISP tonight, hoping to get myself back online at home. Then, it's time to bring on the half life 2 goodness. I'm all for copyright protection and all that, but damnit, Valve! Some of us don't have internet connections with which to play your quality product. Arg. Everyone wants to know what i want for christmas. I have no clue. Silly people with the gift-giving and all that. Gaia fishing: gave it a try this morning, not bad. I apaprently suck at catching anything but guppies, boots and old tires, so that's no good. I can see a lot of gold going down that particular drain. Can't wait until battles are up and running. I think I could do pretty well there. Then we have housing on the horizon. Another gigantic, ginormous drain on my limited Gaia funding. The bachelor pad will be hellacious if I can ever afford it. Lava lamps, computers, and death, that's all a home really needs. Anyways, back to lurking while working.
