Personality: Yukita is an up-beat individual who shares a close relationship with both her mother and younger twin sister. She is cheerful, affectionate, and generous—an often silly young woman whose outlandish taste in accessories and clothes seems to create a stark contrast with her wall-flower behavior perceived by students at Ouran Private Academy. This is due to a crippling verbal defect called Apraxia of Speech that Yukita has had since childhood. Over the years it has weaned her confidence and pushed her to become self-conscious around everyone, especially fellow schoolmates. Sensitive to the matter, she refuses to speak, a decision which causes tremendous inner turmoil for Yukita since her greatest wish is to become a singer.
Despite her frustration, Yukita doesn’t let this defect control her completely, as she is a very driven young woman who sets out to conquer any goals she sets. Rather than be gloomy or hateful, passionate Yukita attempts to over-come her Apraxia by speaking and singing in private for hours at a time (away from even her twin), sometimes to the point where she really can’t talk due to laryngitis.
While she would like to be more independent, Yukita actually is still very much like a child in the aspect that she relies heavily on her mother and sister for strength (physical or otherwise). Koori makes Yukita feel safe and without her she loses all inner strength. And yet at the same time the idea of “breaking away” from her twin, standing on her own, is also something that fuels the young woman’s life-long desire to sing. Koori can sing well without even trying, takes the “gift” for granted. This makes Yukita jealous and her jealousy prompts her work harder to speak fluently. One day, no matter what it takes, she will get on stage to sing.
Likes: Her family, music, singing and dancing, butterflies and fireflies, fruits, fairy tales, surprises, and playing musical instruments (including popular instruments like the piano, guitar, and violin as well as a few obscure instruments like the palendag, Shankha bhasam, ryūteki, shakuhachi, panflute, and more)
Dislikes: Creeping bugs, horror in any sense, not being able to speak fluently, Saxophones and Bagpipes (one because she is incapable of playing it and the other because she can’t stand the sound of it), when she’s separated from her sister for long periods of time
Quirks: Was diagnosed with Apraxia of Speech at a young age, and thus tends to speak in a "retarded" manner; jumps at sudden noises, even when she know they're coming

Hair: Bright orange and wavy, ends at her tail bone and is usually styled half up - half down, decorated by ribbons, but you are free to style it anyway you would like. The more flamboyant the better.
