[The Race]
As the kids start to laugh
tears roll down my red face
the race began with draft
as the kids start to laugh
it was to late to act
when I tripped over shoelace
as the kids start to laugh
tears roll down my face

Guns were blazing
Soldiers bleeding
quick steps racing
Guns were blazing
bullets chasing
men were fleeing
Guns were blazing
Soldiers bleeding
[Sleeping]
Heavy eyes closing down
Silence everywhere now
on my bed with no sound
heavy eyes closing down
let the living not frown
the dead may rest and bow
heavy eyes closing down
Silence everywhere now
[Free Verse]
We stand here, next to the water,
looking up to the sky.
Wondering to ourselves, if, we're all there is
Or ever will be?
Other than these thoughts that cloud our minds
the moon still turns high in the sky, as
words and actions tend to happen, when
we don't want or need them to occur.
In the past, things weren't supposed to happen
but past is past, let it be
we're living in the present, and we can always
form our future.

why can't you see
we're together
its meant to be

[Love in you]
The love in you
will always be
something that grew
the love in you
will remain true
one thing I see
the love in you
will always be
[Memories]
I've broken down,
beyond repair.
Forcefully bound,
my heart a flare.
You've chosen to,
stay at my side.
With love that grew,
and time to bide.
I will now share,
my life with you
With love and care,
memories to.

This burning inside of me.
A cage filled with nothing.
No visible features.
But an ever lasting treasure.
You're the first to get to it.
And always the last.
No one else, has gotten this far.
Nor will anyone ever take it from your hands.
For this cage, others might seek;
Is only yours to keep.
No matter the coarse, or ventures you will see.
The cage will stay at arms reach.
With only one key.
A key, you posses.
Deep within, can you feel it?
See it, touch it?
Close your eyes, you'll find it.
No need to question yourself, you've got it.
I will let you know, this cage is only yours.
Its always with you, the key is with you.
Smile as you find the answer to everything, within the cage.
