Ahh~ I'd do so much for my friends. I'll sacrifice my time and energy if it'll help them in the end. :D I'm lazy when it comes to things I wanna do--I wanna write a story, I wanna draw a picture, I wanna I wanna I wanna. But when a friend wants something it becomes the top of my list. whee They want icecream? They get icecream! They want a radioactive flamethrower that could destroy cities in one fell swoop? They get a funky Super Soaker! I'm more motived to do things for my friends than I am to do things for myself. Yet somehow I think that spoiling my friends like that is selfish... I'll never know why.
But I beleive that my strong urge to buy things for my friends comes from the fact that I'm not very materialistic myself. People have told me so many times that I'm hard to shop for. Not only because I have all the crap I need already, but because there's not much out there that I want. So I tend to amass large amounts of money, since there is nothing I want to buy. Cash litters my floor like roaches... something many people only dream of. It's gotten to be annoying. I have to be careful when I plan to have friends over that I put the money away, because I don't want to tempt my friends to steal from me.
ANYWHO. I love to buy things for my friends. heart I dunno why. When I lend out money to them, I have no intention of getting it back. Even though I've been told many times that lending out money is the start of a bad friendship that can only result in being stabbed in the back. But I think I've trounced this simply because I don't lend stuff like that out, I give it away.~
Bwaha. I was gonna go into this thing about how I only selfessly give to fill a hole that must be left by some unknown trauma, but I got sidetracked. x3
