"Urges"

As your faded eyes open,
The sun is acting shy.
You lay in your bed motionless,
As life slowly passes by.

When you decided to get up,
You fell silently to the floor.
You didn't feel a thing,
Because you couldn't anymore.

You don't know what to do,
Your appearance is a mess.
You begin to get frustrated,
You begin to get stressed.

You needed to feel,
Just a little touch.
You wanted to bleed a little,
Not too much.

You dragged the blade across your skin.
You're distracted by the pain,
The sound the blood makes as it hits the tub,
Watching as it flows down the drain.

But it wasn't enough,
You didn't stop there.
You knew you shouldn't have done it,
But it's like you didn't care.

The water was scolding,
And forgetting was quicker.
Everyone thought you was well,
But you knew you was sicker.

You began to get drowsy,
You slipped into the tub.
You went unconcious,
And drowned in your own blood.

As you opened your eyes,
You was still laying in bed.
It was only a dream,
And fortunately you wasn't dead.
