i found this poem actually amazing and beautiful, i thought id share.
im not posting this to say im "emo" or to make it seem like cutting is cool, like its alright and encoragable, because its not. in reality people cut to cope with whats going on in their lives, when it feels like too much and they think theres no where else to turn. cutting can become addicting and can totaly screw up your life, its serious and no matter what any steryotype says, cutting ISNT to be cool (unless your an obvious poser/attention whore). Alot of people dont seem to understand that when you become addicted to cutting your addicted to the pain, that no longer exists, it no longer hurts but rather feels good, and seems to help clear your head. Once again im not encoraging cutting as a place to turn to, rather in this post im trying to make it known that cutting is a serious matter and it shouldnt be ignored, i want everyone to know...well basically what its like to be in the mind of someone so hurt they feel the need to cut... get it?
