Dear Journal,

I had the strangest dream last night...

There was a blinding flash of light and I found myself in the midst of a forest. A forest that was not at all familiar to me. I walked for a bit, but with every step the warm, comfortable woods became cooler and darker with a night shade. A snowflake past in front of my face at one point and I remember flinching at the sudden sight of it. Watching it as it fell to the ground. I continued on. The snow grew thicker.

There was a light up ahead and I saw a figure, "Hello?" I called out, now clutching my arms to my chest to try and keep warm. I came closer to the figure until I recognized the person, "Cordy?" I had questioned, "Cordelia, is that you?" the figure turned around and indeed it was one of my truest friends, Cordelia Chase.

"Why 'ello there." the young lady greeted like it was anything else. She didn't seem as cold as I felt. I had wondered if my friend could feel anything at all, "Where do you suppose we are?" Cordelia had asked me as she began to look around.

I looked around as well. I still didn't quite recognize it, but somehow it seemed and felt so completely familiar, "I don't know." was all I could reply with. A blinding flash of a blue-white light went about again, making my vision a blur. When I opened my eyes it was pitch-black, "You there still?"

"Yes. I suppose I am." a voice called out, "Are my eyes shut or is it really in the darkest of night?" Cordelia didn't seem at all phased or surprised by anything.

"Are you alright?" I remember asking her, this was not at all how I knew Cordelia.

"I'm not sure." Cordelia replied. It truely was dark, but somehow I could see the outline of Cordelia's body.

"What's with all the flashing!?" I remember crying out, for in that moment a third flash came to my eyes. All I could say to describe it would be, it was much like a Camera Flash when it flashes quickly a few times and then the grand flash goes off.


And then I woke up. I woke up this morning in time to grab some toast, an apple, and a bottle of water before I had to head back up to my attic/bedroom and find myself rushing, or more-so striding, my way down the small tunnel* that connects all the houses in the row of flats; in order to wake up my beloved friend, Miyavi so that we could meet up a little ways more down the tunnel to grab Cordelia and get to work on time.

*In my bedroom (it use to ba an attic) there's a small box-room closet in one of the corners of the room. There's a small door that opens up into it; the space behind the door is large enough to walk into if you're hunched over. It can be pretty dark, but it's slightly brighter in the tunnel when the sun is beating down through the cracks of the roof slates. There's no floor in this tunnel: you have to step from rafter to rafter, and between them, there was only plaster.


Going back to the story of my life:

I realized I had forgotten a great deal of things in my other purse, back in my room...so I had to head back down the small, cramped tunnel to my room--however, I wasn't paying attention and I found myself on the floor of someone else's attic room. Like my friends and I, this room had also been turned into a bedroom. It was the newbie on the block.

The young man is the same age as the rest of us, so he joked about my falling into his room. Miyavi gathered Cordelia and they headed down the tunnel to find me...in the new guy's flat. It was so embarassing. I almost died. eek

Well, it turned out Aaron--the young fellow--was starting a job at the same pub that Miyavi works at. Cordelia and I only work one or two stores down from the pub...at a diner...so we all walked to work together...it was an interesting morning, let me tell you! tee hee...

Well, someone's coming...I'll have to sign out for now, but I'll continue the story a bit later. Ta...
