Personality: Rolland is practically bipolar. He can be chill... on occasion, but more often than not he's acting up, which he usually blames on his "tourett's," a disease he doesn't actually have. He likes causing trouble for other people and making a confusing mess out of simple things.
Bio: Not surprisingly, as a child, Rolland was notoriously mischievous. All the teachers feared him, he drove his parents into a frenzy. No one could control him, by any means at all. As a result, he picked up some bad habits as he grew older. He also seemed to accumulate other misguided kids to him.
Eventually, he started doing things that were morally incorrect. Illegal things. Like theft, graffiti, and arson (and public nudity, but that's a different story). He didn't seem to understand that these things, were indeed, bad. And, much to his distaste,he was easily apprehended by the proper authorities. He was still pretty young. Too young to take on a full fledged prison sentence. But he was threatened with it. When Rolland returned to his misdirected ways, regardless, he was thrown behind bars for two weeks.
As a result of the horrors he endured, Rolland became terrified of going to prison. So he extensively studied the laws. Not to abide by them, but to learn all the loopholes and whatnot. At some point, he realized this knowledge had money-making qualities. And the thought of owning a gun, hunting someone down, and ultimately taking control of their life (in his warped way of thinking) was quite a thrill.
For some un-Godly reason, he was permitted to pass through the police academy. Eventually, he became a little more mature and started understanding the reason for the rules. Rolland worked his way to chief of police (more power, after all) and started taking on his own cases. The cop wanted to take on the more difficult, dangerous cases. When something came up involving one of the crazy kids he used to run with, Rolland threw himself in the midst of it immediately.
Along the way he noticed a girl who was ever present with the man he was hunting. As he tailed them, he learned a bit about her. That she joined the gang leader as a child, that she was just a misguided little girl who needed help, that her name was Shae. When Rolland was about to stage his own assault, Shae beat him to it. She had already killed the gang's leader, and decided to trap Rolland in the basement of a burning building.
Like hell would that stop him. He essentially saved her life by pulling her unconscious self from the fire, before passing out himself. She'd escaped by the time he woke up. Several months passed before he met her again. After a mini fight, he convinced her to join him, and now the two of them live together~!
Occupation: Chief of Police
Clothing: If he's not in his police uniform (and he's usually not just because he knows he can get away with it), then he wears pretty simple clothes. Loose black T-shirt, Jean pants, and everyday black shoes. He likes belts and chains, so he wears a few of those whether he's in his uniform or not. He also has a lip ring on the left side. Hair: He usually wears it up high in a stringy, messy ponytail, but if he let it down, it would brush just past his shoulders. His bangs are just as long as the rest of his hair, and he leaves them down, whether the rest of his hair is up or not. His hair is black with blue highlights.
Eyes: Blue-Green
Weapon: Technically, he has two silver pistols. While both of them look and feel identical, one is actually a harmless water gun. Just for shits and giggles.
