today we talked about what happened when a guy at our church died. the man died during one of the churches big days. he was an active member of the community, also a grandfather to a five or six year old.
i was about 10 when he died, and it's still clear in my head.
the pastor showed us pictures of him and his family, and talked about what happened on his death day.
he wanted to go home because he wasn't feeling well, but also didn't want to leave church. he stayed and soon walked out the side door, and collapsed, unconsious.
there were unbrellas ever were and a ambulance arrived. he died on his way to the hosipital, from a heart attack.
on the way out of church i started crying real badly, it's was the first time i cried for someone i didn't know.
