Now I am not that big of a miss may I fan and really did not have any idea that they were coming out with a new album till like two weeks before it even came out so I'm not sure what songs were released before the album came out and I think you can buy this at hot topic along with other places (probably not Target like usual, just look for the epic album art like the one on the side that’s is kind of familiar with there last album. So Monument comes with 10 hardcore songs that we will all soon know and love. And with that I am saying one can argue that they went with a slightly harder approach but to me it old school miss may I, just they way I like it. The music its self is great, but can sometimes get a little not Varity and the lyrics are decent with the memorable singing chorus parts.
Now I'm not saying change is good but for me metal core bands need to bring something new to the table and this album could have just been an extension of the last one. To me it did not really have its own character. With that they actually did a nice job, might not be worth the money but I recommend it to anyone who loves miss may I or is looking for something traditional. I give Monument a 7/10
