Chad Pedersen and His Sister
On August 15, 2010, SPHS lost a beloved Member of its staff. Chad Pedersen, the Athletic Training administrator. Chad wasn't just some Athletic Trainer, he was a friend. A Father. And a Brother. Chad Pedersen was taken too soon, when he was so full of life, love, and happiness. Unfortunately, Chad left behind not just his Students, whose lives he touched in so many ways, but a wife, Karyn, and young daughter, Kylee. Chad was loved by all his students. I being one of them. I know I only knew Chad for my Freshman year, But I felt like I learned so much from the man. He made Bad breaks, Fractures, Sprains, and Dislocations fun. I know that sounds odd, but... but he'd improv situations and make learning the ways of the Athletic Trainer fun. So Chad. I hope you're having a "Five Star Day" up where you are. And yes, I will always R.I.C.E My injuries, just like you said. I'm not saying goodbye, "Chadney" I'm saying, "I'll see you again someday," and I will never, ever forget you.
