I would say I have nothing better to do,
But I think we both know that’s not true.
I could be cleaning up my room.
Actually, I can’t; I don’t have a broom.

I would be going to the park,
But I only want to go after dark.
I could be going out to play;
The problem is, it’s so hot today.

I would do something other than complain,
But to do something else is such a pain.
I could give out great advice,
But the world is filled with brainless mice.

I would be going for a run,
But I don’t know what that would get done.
I could sit inside all day and sigh,
And I think with how bored I am, I just might.
