My name is Nikki Akumu. Im the last of the Akumu clan, which is a clan of vampire slayers. When I was 5 a blizzard came in the night, out of nowhere, and hit our village hard. I guess rouge vampires must of saw this as a chance to attack us. I woke up to screams and fire blazing up the night sky, making it look like morning. I ran down the stairs looking for my mother and father. After that, all I remember is hearing my mother yell at me to run. I was so scared, I turned and ran out of the village. I ran into the woods and kept running till I couldnt see the smoke or hear the fighting. Even though it seemed safe to stop, I kept running. I dont really know how far I ran, but I was nearing a river when I tripped and fell. Pushing myself to my knees, I started crying without stopping. I didnt even notice when three vampires walked over to me, just like I hadnt notice I was coated in blood from the attack on my village. Worried, they took me in and raised me like their own daughter, even after learning my last name. When I was about 10 me, my brother, and his friend came across a vampire girl about my age running from a rouge vampire. Without thinking, I just ran in and tried to save the girl. Its was pretty cool since I actually WON! I love my vampire family and all. But I wish I could remember my real parents. Who knows. Maybe Ill remember one day. (If I was any of the Vampire Knight Characters, I'd be Yuuki)
