She comes from Windhurst but has spent most of her time in Bastok. She is in love with Luner but has no idea how to tell him. She looks up to him and sadly depends on him a little too much that she gets into deep trouble if he's not around. She loves chocobos and hopes to have one of her own someday.

Daerunas mentor and best friend. He is constantly looking out for her and protecting her. He seems to have feelings for her but no one can really tell as he spends more time lecturing her than anything else. He will go out of his way for his student and would risk his life for her.
They have talked about marraige but every time one of them brings it up the other runs in the other direction. Daeruna is scared that if she tells Luner how she feels he'll hate her.
