History
Captured as children by a Guardian raid on their community, the twins were kept as trophies for the unit's Battlemaster. Their ability to manipulate the elements seen as little more than parlour tricks. After years of being prisoners, the increase of demon activity causes casualties in the Guardian unit. The survivors of a particularly decimated squad decide to vent their anger on the daemon twins, blinding Leyth's right eye and leaving a large gash on Aryn's arm. To avoid trouble with their Battlemaster, the Guardians ask the hedge healer Aelwyn Goldeneye for assistance.
Additional Information
Aryn, the older twin, is logical, almost to a fault, and takes the time to form his phrases before speaking them. He tends to be distrustful of people and thus appears to have a cold disposition. He enjoys polishing his martial and intellectual skills against his brother, who would rather be sparring physically than verbally. While he rarely makes friends, once he makes a bond it is very difficult to break. Aryn's weapon of choice is a spear but would be at home with a stave or halberd. He can be seen reading whatever he can get his hands on, training, or chasing down his elusive brother. It's most common to find a frown on his face, or a carefully blank expression, although Leyth says it is just his mask.
Leyth is the younger twin and is easy-going by nature. He tends towards the forgetful and drifts wherever his fancy takes him before he's reigned in by Aryn. Can be rather sloppy in appearance and verbal abilities. Leyth is blind in his right eye. He isn't a great fan of strife and prefers using metal gauntlets and a haphazard fighting style, or the fleetness of his feet to end an encounter. He carries a saber that Aryn forced him to wear and is equally protective if his brother is in need. Leyth can be found...at times, usually climbing and exploring with no thought to the consequences. Tends to have a faint smile on his face.
