Selene used to have a human lover, but accidentally turned him to stone one day when she met his eyes. Since then she has wandered trying to find someone who will accept her for what she is, killing anyone that refuses her. She has never really recovered from her lover's death and is extremely depressed, so she takes it out on everything and everyone she can.
