Tai was born into a family of two, they died trying to stop the human race from dying out, now its her turn. (Or that is what she tells people)
James had a sister, her name was Sarah, their father went off to fight in the war and their mother died of illness, two years back. So James was left in charge of taking care of his sister and himself. One day, they was walking down the street when they were attacked, he lived and she died. His father disowned him, when he came back from fighting. So here he is, with a stupid doll.
