July 1st:
Find me the place where the people stay the same, no matter how much times have changed.
God, give me the place where the worry goes away, where a hug or smile made it okay.
Please give me the place that I can go and hide and the world would never know.
I want a place where the grass stays green and the trees still grow.
*sigh* give me friend that'll always last, so that we can recall things long ago and from the past.
Haha, give a friend with a little bit o' sass, but make sure they have a whole lot of class.
Give me a friend so that we can laugh over wine. Although I don't drink, that'd be just fine.
I want a friend who'll steer me right and stay by my side.
And if you don't mind too much, I'd like one love...made 'specially for me in the heavens above?
It doesn't matter if he's tall, short, skinny, or chubby; all I want is for someone to love me.
Now, none of this has to go my way. I probably don't deserve all this that I say...
But I'll tell you what I really want, if I may? I really just want a life like the good ole' days.
