So, this weekend I went to an art class thing. Its downtown, at the back of my friend Bella's cafe in a little room where you can see all the grafiti in the parking lot next to it. The cafe is pretty awsome! There is the cafe part at the front and then it turns into a store. If you make it through the random garden supplies and clay cookie jars the you see a green french door that leads into a mini museum that as I said has a great veiw of the abandoned parking lot.
This guy Sean was our teacher and he is an artist that does art on wall paper and such. He is all into recycling and stuff and he goes to garage sales and picks up things to draw. Like, he had this rusty shower-head and old molson beer openers. I took one of the beer openers and decorated it with flowers then drew it. (i know its so awsome). surprised I also decorated a knife that Sean found at a garage sale and drew that. We did other things too ... but i don't want to bore you!
Then today we made "porfolio books" and my theme was dreams, I drew pictures on wall paper (again) with ink. It turned out pretty well! I also bought one of Bella's "emo kittys" she made these awsome stuffed animal kittys that are made of fleece. 3nodding
And as I separate my smarties, I think that thats a pretty good sign that I have nothing left to say! lol
