Yesterday, Saturday, and two weeks ago I participated in two different solo contests with a solo that I'd been working on since... oh... Probably around the beginning of December. Anyway, this guy JJ plays trombone with me at my school, only he's really cocky and rude to me (I'm second chair, he's first) but I try to ignore it, right? Well it turns out we've been playing the same solo, and yesterday I had to play right after him, so I was really scared, but I PLAYED IT and I MESSED UP BAD and I STILL got a better score than he did, so yay!
