Alright, so I'm on the computer and my sister is watching The Office a few feet away. It's been storming for a while and there's been some lightning, so naturally my cat Britty is hiding.
Basically, it was your average lightning storm.
All of the sudden, there's this strangely loud rumble and crackle and our house is filled with light, then there was this ear-ringing boom of thunder. Stephanie shouts, "Oh my gosh! That hit RIGHT THERE!" I turned to look where she was pointing, because I was slightly rattled from hearing such a loud crack of thunder while on an electrical device.
A bolt of lightning hit 3 feet from our house!! gonk
Anyway, after it struck, the lightbulb above our front entranceway, that has been out for a few months because we're too lazy to change it, just out of nowhere lit back up. That was amazing.
So yeah, it turned out to be a really awesome lightning storm after all.
