Skasha
The hero panted as he entered the vast chamber of crystal. He had fought his way here to the last test. The ninth and final test. Past griffins and harpies. Past wise old men, and wicked beasts. On the other side of the great room stood what almost appeared to be a man. Twice the size of a grown man, he stood as still as marble, and of the same coloring. In one clawed hand he held a feather. As the hero drew close the door he had come in threw melted back into the wall and disappeared. He'd have to move forward.
The horned man began to speak, though he had no mouth, "Test of valor, and tests of strength. Of wisdom and heart and more. This is the last test, if you pass I will show you the way to your prize."
"And if I fail?"
"You die. I haven't eaten in many years." The hero's face hardened at hearing this, but nodded just the same. "So let us being."Old Man Vee Triclopian of the arid north...
Natural enemy of the rockbiter...
Smaller but more vicious...
Ruining the rocks with their poisonous blood...
Remove a feather...
Use it like a quill to draw blood...
Write upon the stones...
Watch the blood seep in...
Watch the rockbiters die...
Feed upon the corpse.
