Attacks:
Most of Nerene's attacks are like Bonnie's, but she can do some things Bonnie can't and there are some things she can't do that Bonnie can.
Water Burst: Short range blast of water, usually aimed at the face.
Water Jet: Long range water blast, very strong.
Water Tornado: Vortex of water summoned around herself as a defense, or sent to pursue and opponent.
Water Transformation: Turns herself into water to allow blows to pass through her. Is very vulnerable to fire and ice like this.
WaterSpout Rush: When in waterspout form, rush her apponent at blinding speed.
Levitation/ Flight: When in waterspout form can fly levitate for short distances.
Regeneration: Can use water to regenerate herself slowly.

History:
Nerene doesn't have much of a past. She came to life, became aware, and spent all her time with other Waterspouts for several years. One day, she wandered off from the group and found her way to Lady Nereid's grotto. There she challenged the water master and was sorely defeated, her very form being made subject to the Lady's will. The Lady was intrigued by this new form of water creature and took her in. She bound the water spout in a tiara so that she could be summoned at her mistress's will.
One day, Bonnie met her during one of her regular visits to the Lady. Instantly, there was a sort of bond that developed between them. The presence of the aquamancer seemed to make Nerene stronger and caused her to grow and mature. Nerene's presence with Bonnie seemed to help her focus her powers. Lady Nereid loaned the wave tiara to Bonnie to see what would come of it. So Bonnie decided to take Nerene to the Battledome, and the rest, as they say, is history.
It was there that she learned to speak and met several new people, including one that she currently has a crush on. After a while though, it was time for her to return. Nerene didn't want to and Bonnie was sad to see her go, but Lady Nereid insisited and so they obeyed.
Most recently, Nerene has been moping around the grotto in a sad sort of way. This concerned the Lady and she suspected that this was a sign that Nerene was about to take another step in her evolution. Lady Nereid created a human form for Nerene that she can use when not in her Water form. She then turned the wave tiara over to Nerene and released her to go where she would, with the condition that she return every few days.
