I walked around the ruined headquarters. It’s a mess and it saddens me to see it this way. As I walked around and my sock covered feet I noticed all the memories that I have in this place were coming back.
“I can’t believe I have been here since the beginning…” I muttered as I see many faces come and go either by death or having to go on a mission and never coming back. I could hear the nurse calling for me to come back. They have been trying to keep me in a bed ever since I used my time tattoo to bring Tapp back from being a skull. “Honestly, its just my arm people I am not going to die. You would think after 2 thousand years the previous nurse would put ‘Don’t worry about Hathor.’ Or something…” I muttered again as I took of my jacket carefully and let my tattoos of my angel wings form behind me and I fly to higher levels.
I looked over the mess from above and my eyes started to sting. I reached up to rub them and noticed I was crying. Most of the time, I would stop myself from doing this particular act, but I decided not today. This was my home since the beginning of the order and I have to move from it. Just like in Egypt, I couldn’t stay there because the one I loved died with out me by his side. It’s been 3,897 years since I visited my home land.
“I guess I should visit his grave before I go to my new home…” I fluttered down to go back to the lower levels to ask permission from my superior. Little did I know it will be a while before I can ask any thing.
A creature lurked in the back ground watching as she descended.
