Scars. They mark us weave a crisscross pattern in our lives, whether the scar is mental, physical or emotional. The leave a permanent reminder as to what had happened. No matter what you do, even if the scar fades, it will always be there, reminding you. They make us what we are, and they are something that shows us for who we truly are. Unfortunately, all of us have a tendency to hide the scar, be it with a captivating smile or a piece of clothing, with a charming demeanour that says everything's alright or a simple look. No one ever wants to see the scars left behind, so they hide it under anything they can, just as long as you couldn't see it, then it wasn't there. Simple as that.

So when will we stop hiding and show our scars? Because they are the reason why we are who we are.
