Dear Journal,

After I knew for sure I'd be staying with my mom, I decided to really, really get back into school. This was the year I could file the FAFSA by myself. I did the FAFSA and submitted an application to a local college called LeTourneau University. I got accepted! I am very excited! My major will be teaching, 4th - 8th grade in Science and Math.

I have everything need be done, except my shots. Because of my crazy schedule at Olive Garden, I haven't had the time to call my old High School and get a copy of my records so I can make an appointment with a local clinic.

Speaking of having everything done, I will be getting enough scholarships and grants to cover tuition, plus some! And as soon as my TEACH grant comes through, that will be even more to give me a cushion in my bank account for the rest of the semester. Lately I have been very disciplined with my money since living back at home. I hope I can keep it that way.
