A man was close to death; and he knew it. He had worked his lifetime to gain weath and faith in religon. but he was grieved that he would not be able to take his fortune with him when he went.
He prayed a nd prayed, and finnaly an angel appeared before him and said "come on Sir, its your time. Ill take you to heaven." He was so grieved and upset, he begged the angel "Please, please Allow me to take some valuables with me!" after arguing and haggling. the angel left and reappered. "the boss says you may take one briefcase with you. Grab it quickly and lets go." He leaped with joy and grabbed a briefcase and filled it with his most valuable possesions: gold bricks.
He passed quickly that night in his slep. briefcase in hand. He went up a long stairway and reached the gate. were the angel Gabriel met with him. and asked what was in the case. he opened it and the angel said. "...You brought pavement?"
