The Dark Book of Cards

My Little Black Cat
He dances threw the air, like a swift wind.
Barely noticed by anything but the darkness
who watches with interest.
He jumps from wall to wall, his feet and heart
light as can be. His heart only belongs to one,
and she is gone. His love...
They loved each other so, but fate broke them
apart and now she is dead.
And his paws are stained with blood as his
green eyes watch the man leave with the bloody hands.
Now he walks the earth slowly with dead green eyes,
leaving his bloody paw prints all over our souls...
