I Am My Own Fear
By: Louise Alexandria Dickenson Vasquez
The nights grew dimmer as willows weeped
with an escence of sorrow my heart shrieked
The chilling terror crawled within my spine
while my teeth would whine and grind
as this feeling of gruesome horror burdens my mind
in delirious fear I'd striken a knife
to the core of where grim reaper lies
To realizing that it is I
my own blood that trickles and drips
with screams of cry
