SUMMARY
Set at Shishidou school, a high prep, rich and famous only type place, young Tomu Shirasagi is attending as a transfer student. His motives are unclear, but he simply aims to "cast a net and catch some fish" in a metaphorical sense. He claims to the school that he will earn 10 billion yen (about 100 Million dollars) from gambling matches, simply by starting at 100 yen (23 cents) and doubling it each match. As the matches progress, stakes climb sky high and more of Tomu's past is revealed.
CONTENT LEVELS
Plot: 10/10---From the first match, you start to get the addiction of wondering what he does and how he does it. the best part? all his tricks can be performed by regular people, though they may take a lot of practice and a bit of luck ;P
Violence: 5/10---This is a bit rare for a psych manga, but there is actually a few bits of physical violence (especially when the main antagonist Abidani steps onto the scene around Chapter 10 or so) but all in all, this IS still about mind games
Fan Service: 11/10 (lol xD)---Though spread out and subtle at first, a couple chapters go full out on pleasing the male viewers! seriously, if they showed anything more, this would have to be a hentai manga! (don't believe me? 2 words: strip dice. yes, they really play it >;P)
Action/Suspense: 9/10---its a gambling based manga, how can you NOT have suspense at every chapter, as well as heart pounding action!? xD
Romance: 4/10---This is a Harem, so romance is expected, but it's very slow and in all honesty, you'll forget about it every couple chapters.
OTHER THINGS OF INTEREST
This manga is pretty new, and very underground, so much so in fact if you ran a google image search on the main character, you would barely get anything decent! (i know, me and my sempai tried when making one of my banners, the blue haired guy one) So i certainly couldn't pick better. The Manga i believe is up to Vol. 10 in japan, so you know it's gotta be doing something right.
PARTING WORDS
What can i say? The characters are awesome and cover a variety of types. The tricks and gambles will keep you wondering "what could he be planning with that?" The girls are DROP. DEAD. GORRRRGEOUS!!! xD all in all, it's a manga you gotta read to believe. The one flaw i find in it? the chapters don't update enough >.<
