Oh noes D:
I'm being eaten!
Lark goes political
Valentine's Day, I dub thee "Mooch Food Off People Day"

In other news, the vice-president shot someone. Okay, that's old news. He's a politician. The guy's got a rich lawyer. What could go wrong? I mean, quail are only capable of flying less than 6 feet in the air </sarcasm>

Ahem. I present my case.

First, the background information to the latest:

I quote (thank you Google News. I bought couple hundred shares of your stock):
"The man who was accidentally shot by U.S. Vice-President d**k Cheney during a weekend hunting mishap has suffered what is being described as a minor heart attack." -CTV

So what happened? The vice president goes off hunting quail. Yes the country's in a "war" and the economy is failing. And what does the second in command of the U.S.A. do? He hunts quail. Brilliant. The victim, Wittington, was shot near the end of the hunt by a "mistake" since he hadn't announced rejoining the hunting lines.

Ahem. Now who in their right mind won't notice a moving, neon orange jacket in the field of light golden brown? Obviously the VP. Or maybe he hasn't got a right mind. Apparently, the victim had a heart attack recently and it been all over the news to those who watch. Whew. Also, his heart rate is irregular while everything else remains normal.

Later, the hunting group went for dinner and received updates on Whittington's condition at the hospital. Apparently, Cheney was "very worried." Well he certainly has a right to that. Who wouldn't have a distorted expression on their face after ahemACCIDENTLYcough shooting someone? Sorry.

Second, let's investigate the hunt.
Quail, when they're.... uh.... stalked so to speak, will usually panic and fly up in the air quickly. And they usually fly where they're out of human armsreach. That, of course, is over 6 feet. The victim, 78, will not exceed the height of the bird's arial capabilities. That shot couldn't have been deliberate right? Keep in mind that Cheney does not want to publicly speak about this event (who could blame him), AND he has a very rich lawyers. These men happen to be good buddies. Ahem.

Well, the bird could be simply flying out of the landscape in between the 0 and 6 feet when it was shot wasn't it? Well....

1) Fight-or-Flight situtations are very effective in animals. Panicking quails would've shot outta there like a rocket.
2) If the quails were being stalked, their location would be well known before the bird leaves the safety of the landscape. Therefore, the hunter's would've spotted Whittington nearby and held their fire.

Soooooooooo...... my point? I'm not totally sure it was an accident. There's a piece missing from the news disclosed to citizens. And it's weird. Silly politicians. Hunting innocent animals at a time like this.

I just wrote something somewhat worthwhile. Wow. Never thought this side of me would reawaken.

-----New point-----
Amendment II
"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

Just in case people haven't noticed, there is no longer a legal militia. So should we have the right to bear arms?
