Poem written for Damien Fox. His birthday recently passed and this came to me. If only I could of gone to NC and put those roses on his grave... RIP

Moving on without here, just isn't the same

Those memories will never fade
I walked by your grave, and sat beside
Remembering the day they put you inside
Tears rolled down my face as I traced your name
Living on earth without you just isn't the same
Hey baby, I remembered your birthday
All i had to give was roses, with the color faded away
I remember the times we laughed until we cried
Nothing can hurt us then. But those times had died.
I sat in the grass next to your grave
You were the life I couldn't save
