The first time you meet her. Oh my god, she'll be your best friend. You can tell by that creepy smile that shows up on her face, the goofy way she talks, and her crazy actions. You walk up to her to introduce yourself. And instantly, you guys know you're soul sisters. That's what happened with my friend Heidi, and I. We were great friends, and then you know what happens? She moves. To the other side of the country. I was devastated. "What? You can't move!" I say, tears falling down my face. I finally found that other half of me in the form of a best friend, and she's gone. Just like that. "It's okay, Leigh. I'll talk to you every day. I swear." she says, patting my back. I nod, knowing she will. The day she left, I visited her house that morning, after she'd left, and she left me a charm. I keep that charm with me at all times. She's moved to Tacoma, Washington...all the way from here, in Georgia. I talked to her all the time, and still do. And you know what? She might get to come back. But, that's a strong might. I can only hope.
