Anything Special.
Johnny Erwin II. . . well, it's a start.
Johnny Erwin, the hero of forever. . . now, that's someone
I'd want to be, but I'm
Stuck
Just being me.
Why can't I be. . . something enthralling to the eye?
Something that
Catches your attention, and doesn't
Let go of your
Mind?
Why can't I be. . . something exuberant and free?
Like a noble Monarch butterfly
Drifting swiftly on the
Breeze?
Why can't I be what people want to see?
Why am I
Stuck
Just being me?
Maybe, I could be. . . the helper-outer guy,
Helping dreams become
Real,
and sending hope to the sky.
Or, I could be. . . the advice-giver man.
Making
Pain disappear and always lending a
Helping hand.
I could easily become one of these, but

The one who cracks a funny

To cover up the pain, and makes it
Seem like it's gone, until,
Once again, it
Rains.
The one you tries to make you smile.
The one who
Yearns to do such.
