NOBODY’S HOME
(Little girl’s ghost talking)
I just awoke
I’m all wet
I’m walking back to my house
I wonder what happened…
I can’t wait to get home
To my caring and loving
mother and father
To my wonderful big sis
And my little black dog
Im walking down the street
I am now so close
So close to my amazing family
I found my house but it must be mistake
Because the walls have been painted on
And the yard is much mistreated
My mother would always keep everything clean
And my father would always
Take good care of the yard
I walk inside the house and call out
Could it be?
That nobody’s home?
I walked around but found no one
I walked back outside
And saw a sad boy
“What’s wrong?”
I asked
“You can see me? Are you dead too?”
I opened my eyes wide
“I’m not dead…”
I whispered and then everything cme back to me
I am dead…
I was killed by my amazing family
Only my dog tried to defend me
My caring mom was screaming at me
My loving dad was beating me to a bloody pulp
And my wonderful big sis finished the job
She threw me over the bridge
“Do you know what happened to this home?”
I asked with a blank look on my face
“They packed and left, are you ok?”
“Nobody’s home”
“No, nobody is there. I wonder what happened to their little daughter…”
“your talking to her… Come on, lets go.”
“Why?”
“Because…”
I smiled and looked at him.
“Nobody’s home.”
