- I've been thinking on this topic for a very long time now, and no mater how many hours I spend sitting and debating the issue in my head, I can't come to a conclusion. And that is just... driving me insane with confusion. Among other things. @_@
I'm wondering, what's in a soul? Why am I wondering this-? I was thinking... one day, what if mankind does figure out how to clone an entire human? But, not just their bodies, but their memories. Would those two people not behave exactly the same? Would they not think, react the same way about things they'd run into, in the same situations? Are we all just the sum of our life's memories and experiences? If so, then what is the point of a soul? What's the meaning of having one? What is the purpose?
If those two people, exactly the same, had two seperate souls, what good would the souls be? How could you define those two souls from eachother? I have alot of stupid questions about this what-if matter, I know. sweatdrop And it just confuses me so much, I can't even explain everything i'm confused/thinking about this topic. But, in a nutshell:: Are we all guided and defined by only our memories of life, and nothing more? And if so, then what is the meaning, what is in a soul?
'Course I can go on rambling about this for a good, long while. But, I doubt anybody would read that far into my babbles for that long. And, i'm too lazy for that.
