I wanna watch the sunrise die in your eyes. Oh, your lips break with miserable goodbyes.

The angel.

Amour stood in the demons' castle's guest ward, studying her appearance in the large ornate mirror. Her soft white wings and halo-like aura were gone, as well as her normal clothes. The ruby that hung around her neck made her appear to be a black haired, pale human as opposed to her usual lightly tanned, honey colored hair self. The angel's eyes seemed to be a downcast gray instead of gold. She wore a dark gothic styled dress favored by the demons and those humans who sided with them.
She jumped at a knock on the door, hurriedly tucking the forbidden jewel into the neck of her dress. "You can come in," She stated curtly. The door creaked open and a lesser demon peeked in, scowling at her.
"Ambassador, the Prince requests your presence in the gardens." He said cooly, obviously dissapproving of a 'human' in the royal gardens. "Why?" She asked him sharply, a frightened flush rising in her high cheekbones. The demon sneered, looking at her as if she were mentally ill. "Are you really in any position to question his highness? He mentioned 'terms'...I'm going to assume he meant the peace treaty." He sniffed haughtily, leaving without another word, seeing as the "request" was really an order.
What? It's not time for our normal meeting.... Amour swallowed nervously and hurried down, telling herself that it was just a mistake of time. Still, she felt at her dress sash, making sure all her knives and other weapons were not visible. She took a moment to brush her hair out of her eyes, straighten her dress and take a deep breath before she stepped slowly into the gardens. Her fingertips stayed near her knives.

The thief.

Sin wove among the dancers of the masquerade, her slender body winding mechanically to the music but her mind entirely elsewhere. Impatiently she scanned the crowd for the lord of the castle, her green eyes brightly standing out from the crowd, the irises flecked with silver. Though her long lashed eyes were fairly noticeable, she kept her identity hidden behind an ornate beaked mask. Her vibrant scarlet hair was normal at the time--though hers was natural, many nobles had taken to dying their hair. She wore her long tousled hair down, rather than pulled up in a knot as usual. She was not afraid of being caught...Sin could almost taste the wine on these idiots' breath. Vampires and their alcohol. She clicked her tongue dissaprovingly, a sly sparkle in her eye as the clock chimed twelve. The Lord would emerge from his room soon, which meant it was time for work.

She excused herself from her partner, who stumbled off to pester some other lady for a dance. Sin rolled her eyes, straightening her feathered black cocktail dress and slipping on a pair of black gloves. She walked hurriedly, but not suspiciously, her emerald eyes glittering mischiveously in the dim candlelit halls. She found the lord's room easily and a smirk tugged at her lips. Kneeling, she had the lock picked within seconds and quickly slid in through the door and let it close. She blinked in surprise, finding the room pitch black. As she waited for her eyes to adjust, the door opened again and slammed shut before she could turn around. She heard the lock click into place. s**t... Sin quietly slid her dagger out of the strap on her thigh, listening carefully.

The hunter.

Sin sat perched on a tree limb in the forest canopy, stifling a yawn as she sharpened the edge of her dagger. Her feathery silver hair hung loosely in her face, sheltering her piercing gold eyes from the light of the stars. She wore a lacy dress that hung off of her shoulders elegantly, the innocent clothing disguising the fact that she was a demon slayer. Its sash concealed the rest of her weapons from any prying eyes. Exhausted and having no luck finding a demon to hunt, she leaned back against the tree. Her eyes fluttered shut for just a moment before a twig snapped beneath her. She quickly hid her blade and looked around, her long lashed eyes wide. "Who's there?" She called out innocently, her fingertips on the hilt of the dagger.
