I'll be honest with you, right now. I forgot that a journal feature even existed. Not that I have had much to say until now anyway.
So, three days ago a fire started in my kitchen. The damage to our apartment wasn't all that bad; the sprinklers put out the fire. There is some damage to the cabinets and some water damage on the floors. The power is out in the kitchen as well, which makes cooking difficult. Things are good, considering. The worst part of the whole fiasco is that my cat, Antonio, ran away in all the commotion. I spotted him once while the firefighters were still doing their thing, but I haven't seen him again since.
