"Are we there yet?" Tori moans as we walk through the eerie dark forest
"Almost." i said
Tori sighs
After about 5 minutes of walking, we end up at an abandoned theater. It looked like one of those buildings that people go in...and never come out. Almost all of the windows were shattered, and some leftover pieces were laying on the blacktop. I was starting to wonder if there was even a show going on here, considering that there were no signs of cars, or people.
"Should we go in?" Tori asks looking the building up and down.
I think for a moment "Lets go."
Tori stands still for a moment thinking. Then decideds to follow me into the building.
As soon as we step through the broken door, our feet squeeked under the wooden floor. It was complete darkness accept for a dim light that was shineing at the end of the hallway. I start to walk toward the door, but Tori grabbs my arm.
"I dont think that we should go down there. I have a bad feeling about this place." She shuttered
"Oh you do?" A deep voice behind us croaked, which made both of us let out a little yelp.
We turn around to find the tallest man that i have ever seen! He had to be at least 8 feet tall. He had a very deep but calming voice.
"Who are you?" i speak up
"My name is Mr.Tall." the man replied, lowering down to meet my level.
The man had terrible breath, and a dark shade of yellow teeth.
"Now may i ask. What are you doing here?" He calmly asked us
"Were here to see the Cirque Du Freak." Tori speaks up
"Oh you are now? Well i am the owner of the Cirque Du Freak. And what about you Alyssa?" The man asked
"Im with he-." i stop in mid-sentence
"Ho-w did you kno-w my name?" i frightenly ask
Mr.Tall chuckles "I know alot of things."
" I know that both of you snuck out to see the Freak Show. I know that your Best Friends. I know that Alyssa is living with strict parents who would never let her go to a freak show, and that you went over to Tori's house just so that you could come here, which then you snuck away from Tori's mother."
Both of our mouths we hanging wide open with fear.
"Now, if your here to see the Cirque, then where are your tickets?" He asked us, not bothered by our expressions.
I hold out my hand with a single blue and green ticket. Tori did the same.
"Excellent." he smiles
"Follow Me."
We dont hesitate.
"Right this way." Mr.Tall says directing us to our seats, which happen to be in the 3rd row, with a great view.
There were loads of people in the theater, which was odd because there were no cars parked anywhere near the theater. Before the show started there were whispers and mumbles from the crowd. The the lights whet out, and there was a dim green light that appeared on the stage. The show has begun. And Mr.Tall took the stage.
"Welcome to The Cirque Du Freak. Wolrds most ancient Freak Show. Now these freaks are not just people dressed us in costumes. These are real and extrodonary people with amazing talents. But i must warn you, this show is not for the faint-hearted, so i suggest if some of you get scared easly, this would be the time to leave."
Some people got up and left, but me and Tori stayed put.
"Now here is our first act."
"The Wolfman."
And that was when the screaming began.
