I was released after a few weeks, but was told not to use my left arm too much...so, I slipped on a Trench coat over my clothes and went to the bus, my bandaged arm covered by the sleeve. I greeted the normal people at my bus, including my ROTC buddy Alex Martinez. I got a pass so I would only have to visit two classes...Band and Rotc. I went to ROTC for the entire day, my Trench coat on the chair behind me, the bandages visible. I went through the entire day quickly, helping the Lt. Colonel teach, and then helping Sarge in the afternoon. I participated in my class, my left hand hanging loosely at my side the entire time. I was perfectly fine until Kadeem noticed something under my shirt and asked what it was. I pulled it out and showed him, and that made him Jump back, his eyes wide. "Are those..?" He asks, trailing off. "Yeah..They're from what caused this." I say, gesturing to my left arm, then slipped the necklace back into my shirt, the fang tips clicked together as I moved it, making an interesting noise the echoed around me...but it seemed like I was the only one who heard it....or so I thought.
