Stayed as school for 11 hours and 6 minutes. 6:30 am-5:36 pm.

Had a celebration in French class. 4 different kind of yule roll cakes-all chocolate. Not quite to my taste...
Drank different kinds of drinks: mineral water, carbonated water, french version of orange juice, a cherry favored carbonated soda.
Sang different x-mas songs in french.

2 guys in my class mentioned a song: Christmas Shoes.
Listening to it right now... it's so sad.

He counted pennies for what seemed like years,
Then the cashier said, "Son, there's not enough here."
He searched his pockets frantically
Then he turned and he looked at me.
He said, "Mama made Christmas good at our house, though most years she just did without. Tell me sir, What am I gonna do? Somehow I gotta buy her these Christmas shoes."

So I laid the money down,
I just had to help him out.
And I'll never forget the look on his face when he said,
"Mama's goin' look so great."

I knew I'd caught a glimpse of heaven's love as he thanked me and ran out.
I knew that God had sent that little boy to remind me what Christmas is all about.

This has no religious meaning but merely a message to all: love your mother while you can. For what should be a joyous time, meloncholy feelings are around. For myself as well.
