How to match when there's a weird color So the common complaint about new items being introduced with an out-of-the-ordinary-weird-color is that they are hard to match. Do not fret! Sometimes a weird color gets paired with another color that's a lot more common thus you have plenty of other color options at your disposal. For example: Prince Patchouli's pale teal+pale cream+gold. Best worked with other existing cream and gold colored items. Nowadays a lot of avatars come in dual, tri, or quad (what a challenge!) color matching combos which I personally think is super awesome than single color matching. At least you have more options in how you want to dress up and utilize the clothing and colors more. Tip: If you want to try and match with Dappy, your other color options are red and gold and probably black because of the new hat.

	It's good to know that you're also encouraging more extravagant color combos. I politely take your tip for Dappy with discretion, though: unless some time in the future I were to have urges to try with a Reve-centric outfit, I'd do the humanly possible in avoiding using the Red/black/gold trinity and rather pick only one or two colors max out of them, add another shade of blue and anything between Cream and Tan.

	Another Tip: You can always get some fun by trying adding a new color to the scheme and make the item be the contrast item for it. It's harder, of course, but a total challenge for avids avi-makers.

	3nodding Agree'd!! Or finding a lot of variants of the color, like shades of different green to match your first green. I find that it sometimes work. Or colors with the same "brightness" as the hard-to-match color. (example: the blue from Lyndexer's Journal)

	Well we certainly have enough gold colors. And black, along with white and a few other colors, tends to go along with everything. I love the blue in the Dappy though, that's a gorgeous blue.

	I'm rather intrigued by Dappy and plan to get one in the near future. (Or more depending on what all it offers. whee I'm waiting another evolution to see. ) I've been having a laugh about all the complaining with the colors. Some people have no imagination and can not see beyond the most basic or obvious choice. Me, I'll keep enjoying all of your work and finding ways to use it. I love that with each EI, you pull out something completely new and unexpected.

	I appreciate all the new color combinations we've been getting, it really allows for a lot of challenge and creativity. Plus it's nice to see that you guys are making more items to match the rarer colors. For example all that glorius teal <3!

	I like how you address this issue. I feel Dappy matches the Reve well, given it's red/gold theme. I'm doing 5 colors in this outfit (red,gold,white,black,blue) but I'd like to cut out one, probably white. I think people are most upset when an item is comprised of ONLY weird colors (think Inari's Beads, Jinxi). Teal was in the latest Noel evo and I haven't seen any complaints. Thanks for reminidng me I don't own a Patchouli-ouji. emo
