Shut up. >__> I know I said I'm leaving Gaia, and in a way I have. But I love my GJ. D: I couldn't just leave it behind! No matter how many blogs I've tried, none of them could replace this thing.

warning: Long boring reflections ahead~
So, throughout my life, I've noticed that I tend to become obsessed with one thing to another as the years go by. For about a year, it was sewing, and now I'm very good at that. The next two years, it was writing. Then it was drawing for the next three. I think my drawing phase is coming to and end, since I've never heard of a six-month slump before. >__> Not to mention I've been wanting to play my piano a lot. I think, my next phase is going to be instrumental. :D In a way, I'm happy about this, since it is a welsome change, but I'm sad as well. D: Especially since I don't have the time or the nerve to practice playing instruments as much as I want to.
I've been playing the paino for nine or ten years. I've always loved the instrument, and I beleive it's what helped me to learn to type so quickly. Though, even though I've been playing for so long, I'm not very good. I should be at an expert level when I'm at an intermediate level, maybe low intermediate... It's because I never practice the songs I am assigned. When I joined Orchestra at school, I became very good at the viola very fast. I am able to sight read very well, and I have alot of control over the instrument. I'm better at that thing than the piano, even though I've played it for roughly four years. D: It's because I've had to play it every day at school. The piano, though, I played maybe once a week at my lessons.
But lately, I've wanted to practice my piano like a feind. I've wanted to just sit down and figure out the songs I hear on the radio. But I just don't have the nerve to, since it is a loud instrument and I don't want my whole neighborhood listen to me trying to figure out "Dirty Little Secret" one note at a time. Dx But, actually, I'm fine with the neighbors hearing me, but not so much my family since I have to face them on a daily basis.
In short, I've been thinking about saving up for an electric keyboard. I used to have one when I first started piano lessons, but I think my parents gave it to Good Will when they bought me a piano. That makes sence, right? >__> They got rid of it since they were spending a lot of money on the real thing. But I want it back now, so that I can set it up in my room, plug in a pair of headphones, and just go at it. Don't get me wrong, I want to show off the music I make, just like I want to show off my artwork. I just don't want to show off unfinished peices.
... that, and I've been thinking about getting a guitar or a drum set. Yes, no? I've never played either. I have the skills needed to play a guitar, but it would benefit my friends if I learned to play the drums.
Then again, I don't like drums. Screw the drum idea. The drums were a bad idea. The guitar is only a dream. D:< Maybe I'll buy a guitar when I get a job and can afford one, but for now I'll stick with my viola.
And piano. >__>
And weird string instrument I found in the closet that I love to play and badly needs tuning. :'D Which reminds me, I've recorded a couple songs I've played on that weird string instrument. They're incomplete, but I've come up with them myself, and i'm looking for a play to upload my MP3's so I can get some input.
Heh... My 'in short' a couple paragraphs ago wasn't short. x3 I talk too much, I should cut my sentences shorter.
