Y'know, pixel-snow's absolutely grand. Then you get real snow and you're like, "MY LIFE IS OVER!"
Well, that's how I react. I mean, snow's great while it's falling, don't get me wrong. But when it's on the ground, there are all sorts of hazardous things that could happen.
- You get home and your socks are full of snow.
- You step into the snow, thinking there's good, hard ground underneath, when it's really a big-a** puddle.
- All those chicks who wear those weird Ugg boots things are going to cry. Snow and salt are the banes of those boots.
- Sexy time in the snow? Sounds romantic, eh? Try explaining that one to the ER when you people have frostbite in the oddest places.
And with snow comes Christmas (for those who get snow. I know people who've never seen real snow in their lives!), and the stress of finding everyone exactly what they want. Christmas is great for you loners out there, eh? You never expect anything, and you never have to give anything!
Then again, having friends is good at Christmas time. You all meet up and exchange presents, talk about how lonely you are, eat like a pig, stand under the mistletoe and hope Channing Tatum or Taylor Lautner crosses your path, but we all know that's never happening.
AND THEN YOU'VE GOT NEW YEARS'! You have a good time with your friends, go clubbing downtown, get really drunk...
then you wake up the next morning and you wonder how the hell you ended up with with a man/woman who could hold the title for World's Ugliest in the Guinness Book of World Records. Aah, alcohol. A euphemism for life. c:
