Lost Loved One
My eyes are red
My heart is blue
My trears are dry
but i still miss you
where have you gone

will you tell your tales
just like you used to
will you welcome me with arms wide open
or cry for what i have done
will we smile and laugh
as we tell our wildest jokes
great grandfather i miss you
and i dont know what to do
ive been lost without you
for 11 long years
full of self hate
and hate for you
you died on me when i was too young
but now i forgive you
and i realize there was nothing to forgive
im finally learning the lessons you tryied to teach me
everyone says im the most like you and i now realize that im honored to hear it

and i hope you are well
well its alittle after time for wat would be my great grandfathers 90 somthing b-day so i thought i would write a poem for him for he probly was and still is the most influencial person that was ever in my life he was a great man he was married for many years to the love of his life and after she died never even thought of another women like that again he would always tell me war stories and tall tales as well he treated me as a child but also as an equal even though i was only 6yrs old i love him and miss him dearly he died of diabeties when i was 6 and just coming into my imagination i would write stories for him all the time and make them up as well and tell them to him and he would always listen to me and after he died i had trouble finshing anything or even doing anything and that became how i lived but now i am learning the lessons he was trying to teach me everytime i saw him and now i am greatful that i had the chance to know such a great wonderful person and im sad i never really got to meet my great grandma his wife but i know hes with her somewhere now and hes happy and well
