Conceit hiding behind modesty
Pride lurking within shame
Shameful scars are in reality, a proud wound of war
No need to be embarrassed, do you not expect everyone to pity you anyway?
What will you do when someone tells you the painful truth?
Cruel words whisper in your thoughts
while it waits for words of reassurance
Thosethat bear the broken smile,
yet still bear painsuccedingyours by tenfold
While you perish in your self-brought pain
and drown in your self-pity
Your thoughts are not based on modesty,
but the desperation of hearing kind words
You make others ashamed to be modest
