For those of you that like to know about what the singers/composers of your favorite anime opening is. Well, today I'm talking about Yoko Kanno.
Yoko Kanno has done numerous song openings and songs for anime movies and series. Some include,
Cowboy Bebop
Wolf's Rain
Cardcaptor Sakura
Escaflowne
Turn A Gundam
and more. She is a very good lyrist and composer. I really like her songs,
Sora, Green Bird, Strangers and Cloe. heart
With Sora and Green Bird they are not in Japanese. These songs and various others are in Yoko's invented langauge "Old Fanelian". Some people think it's in Old Romanian. scream I truly do think it's in Old fanelian. Because there are some French, Japanese and Italian words.
I really like Yoko's various songs and their variety. Some are Jazz,(strangers) and some are Choral (Green Bird) with a lot more varieties.
